ERIC L VARGAS

I’m an illustrator and comic book artist based in Washington State. Classic anime, mythology, and videogames inspire me, and though I am open to working in many genres, science fiction and fantasy are where I live. My special interests include designing and rendering vehicles, armor, weapons, cybernetics, explosions and architecture.

Since collaborating with other writers and artists energizes me, I’m interested in more opportunities for joining a team, either in-house or work-for-hire.
 

I am stupidly in love with my oversized feline companion (no, she’s not a lion, she just likes her elevensies). When I’m not spending more time than I should playing Elden Ring, I’m hanging out with my grandmother, who is cooler than you’d think.

2015 – Promotional artwork series for Cornet Bay Sauces

2015 – Released a coloring book for adults titled “Fantasy Line”

2014 – Partnered with a Justin DeLaMare to create cover art for the novel “Extinction By Proxy” 

2011 – Studio Art degree from Western Washington University
